Type of the Course: Full Time

Basic Educational Eligibility Criteria:

•   +2 classes passed with Science (PCB) & English with a minimum of 45% marks in PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany and Zoology) from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
•   Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by state Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by central Government having science subject and English only.
•   A Candidate belonging to SC/ST or other backward classes, the marks obtained in PCB taken together in qualified examination should be 40%, (i.e. 45% for BC, MBC, and OBC & FC) should be based on the merit of the entrance examination held by the University or competent authority.
•   English is a compulsory subject in (10+2).

Age Eligibility: The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

Reservation Seats for disabled candidates (As per Indian Nursing Council):

•   3% Disability reservation with a disability of loco-motor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity and other eligibility criteria with regard to age and qualification will be same as prescribed for the nursing programme are appreciated for admission.
•   Colour Blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
•   In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and candidates with benchmarked disabilities under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (PH) the marks obtained in core subject (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany and Zoology) shall be 40% instead of 45 % marks for General category Candidates for admission.
